As a society we have two simple responsibilities: 1) treat each other with respect and compassion and 2) participate in acts of generosity that benefit the greater good. Through social media our smaller local communities can extend their reach nationally and globally, allowing us to connect in ways we never would have imagined years ago. This ability to connect globally comes with a greater need for us to use our influence to provide a positive impact on society. Today, I would like to introduce you to a little girl that needs our help.

Meet Liliana

According to her Go Fund Me page, Liliana was born 3.5 months premature and spent 196 days at Hershey Hospital, where she showed her fighting spirit. While she beat many of the odds, her fight is not over. At 2 years old, Liliana was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and, as a result, she has not yet learned how to walk and is wheelchair-bound. As you can see in the photo above, her glowing personality shines through. This brave little girl has proven that she has the strength to overcome the odds; however, she could still use our help.

How Can You help Liliana?

To help make life a little easier for Liliana and her family, they are trying to raise money to purchase a wheelchair-accessible van, which can cost more than $60,000. There are two easy and quick ways that you can help Liliana and her family:

  1. Make a direct donation via Go Fund Me (any amount helps)
  2. Simply share this post via your social media accounts to raise awareness. For each social share, Business 2 Community will donate $1 (up to the first 1,000 social shares).

Thank you in advance for your help. Together we can make a positive difference in the lives of others in need and contribute to the greater good!
